Creative Agency

Creative Agency

This project involved the end-to-end design and development of a bespoke portfolio website for a multi-disciplinary creative agency. The primary objective was to build a high-performance showcase that serves as a lead-generation tool, presenting the agency’s diverse skillsets.

IL31ROLE is an educational microsite for healthcare professionals, exploring IL-31 role
in neuroimmune skin conditions. It translates complex science into a clear, engaging, compliant, and visually intuitive
digital experience.

The Challenge

The Challenge

The core challenge was to design a visual identity that felt distinct and vibrant without creating visual noise that could overwhelm the individual projects. The interface needed to balance public-facing inspiration with a high-security entry point for exclusive content. Architecting a seamless transition between the main gallery and a Restricted Area was critical to establishing brand authority and professional discretion.

The Solution

The Solution

I developed a refined, UX-led digital experience centred on a high-contrast Black & White theme. This aesthetic choice serves a functional purpose: by neutralising the interface, each project is given equal weight, allowing the creative content to dictate the visual energy of the page.

Key strategic decisions included:

  • Intentional Hover States: To prevent project visuals from competing for attention, I implemented a UI system where projects remain monochromatic by default. Once hovered over, the specific project is highlighted, focusing the user’s attention entirely on that piece of work and creating an interactive, discovery-led journey.

  • Access Strategy: I engineered a dual-layered architecture. While the main site facilitates public exploration, I designed a dedicated Restricted Area solely for high-stake clients.
This section allows the agency to showcase specialised capabilities and sensitive work held under
    Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).

  • Modular Visual Hierarchy: I implemented a flexible grid system that hosts varied media formats photography,
motion previews, and audio ensuring the agency’s versatility is communicated through a consistent and professional brand voice.

I developed a structured design system that emphasises rapid comprehension and visual clarity. Distinct colour-coded systems for Atopic Dermatitis (AD) and Prurigo Nodularis (PN) establish a clear hierarchy and prevent user error when navigating between conditions.

Key UI-focused decisions included:

  • Strategic Navigation: Simplified architecture allowing HCPs to move seamlessly between
    specialised content areas.

  • Data Visualisation: Custom diagrams and iconography translate complex biological mechanisms
    into digestible visual assets.

  • Professional Aesthetic: Clean, accessible UI balances scientific credibility with visual engagement
    for a specialist audience.
